It’s admittedly a bit of a cliché to say there’s never a dull moment in India.
But it’s the truth. Because there isn’t.
Which means, by extension, that there’s no such thing a dull run in India!
Today was no exception.
In no particular order…
I saw hundreds of fruit bats.
A man washing clothes asked me to take his photo.
A policeman asked me the question I have been asked a zillion times already, “Which country you are from?”
I met a whole lot of school children running – and in FAR better shape than wilting ol’ moi, let me tell you (you can see the film of my running past them on my Instagram stories)
The cops outside Parliament allowed me to run where I wasn’t supposed to, because there were dozens and dozens of macaques.
And then there was India Gate. Looking too, too smashing against the deep blue sky.
It’s like the whole of life was packed into a couple of hours this morning.
Great fun.
