There are days when I acknowledge that I really, really do not deserve the generous running friends I have.
People kindly share their running photos with me and…I dilly-dally and post them 2 weeks later.
Guilty as charged, Tina 🙁
Not so long ago, Shanghai-based Tina Kanagaratnam featured in a post here about running in lockdown-y Shanghai.
Then earlier this month, she again shared these stunning photos of Shanghai looking amazing under a deep blue sky.
Enjoy 🙂
Tina captioned her photos with one word apiece: roofs…doors…worker…testing.
And, of course “And a gorgeous blue sky.”
I remember marvelling at the unexpectedness of this Russian Cathedral (above) on my first visit to Shanghai in the early 80s, when it (& much of the city, to be honest) was drab and neglected-looking.
St.Nicholas looks spic and span now, especially against that deep blue sky.
Love the contrast in the photo above between modern Shanghai and a traditional worker.
And, below, Covid, sadly ever-present…
Thanks so much, Tina, and despite my tardiness in sharing these, please keep sharing your Shanghai running moments.
