My running mate Bala, who sensibly left The Big Smoke and moved to the hills, irritated the HECK out of me this morning by sending me a photo taken on his run today.
Now don’t get me wrong – the act of spontaneously sending me a photo is lovely and I am oh-so-grateful 🙂
BUT the jealousy that it provoked in me was not nice 😛 😛
This is what Bala had to say:
“Running in the hill town of Bhimtal on a sunny morning, couldn’t help but stop to take in the contrast that nature provides, between the tranquil waters of Lake Bhimtal and the boats around, with the usually green Nainital, ice-capped from the snowfall yesterday, visible in the distance.”
And now have a dekko at this fab view, folks:
Isn’t it absolutely gorgeous?
Thanks, Bala, for sharing your running view. No, really!!
Joking aside #keeprunning #keepinspiring
Thanks much Christine,
If I can smell the jealousy and see the smoke this far, my purpose on earth is accomplished.
Jokes apart, all my close friends are welcome to come by and gift us some time with them, running in the crisp, clean air, taking our dogs to lick the fresh “mountain dew” clean from the blades of grass, and listen to the musical notes of birds around.
Bala Shukla has a beautiful place. I was fortunate enough to visit him in December and experience the breathtaking views first hand.
