Today’s Q&A is with yet another cyber-running-pal, Mumbai-based Swati Baxi.
Now Swati only started running quite recently, but is clearly very focused and already sounds pretty passionate about her running 🙂
Here we go:
Q) Why do you run?
A) I run to become myself. I run to find sanity. I run to find peace and challenge myself.
Q) When did you start running?
A) Took up running in early 2020 and became consistent only in early 2021!
Q) Morning/evening runner?
A) Morning runner generally for the obvious reasons of lesser traffic and morning calm, however, when I am unable to go for really early mornings, I go around 9 a.m. as well.
Q) With or without music?
A) Yes, I listen to songs while running when I get bored of going around in same lanes again and again to finish long runs. There are so many songs that I love, but “chhoti si aasha” from the movie Roja makes me really happy.
Q) Next running goal?
A) To run a distance of 22 kms injury free in coming 2 months.
Swati, I love your reasons for running. They resonate so much 🙂
I also like the song “Chhoti si asha” (though I haven’t seen the film) mainly because I love everything by A R Rahman and the photography of south India in the clip (below) is so affectionate and pretty…and don’t miss the women running in saris!
Thanks so much my friend-I-have-yet-to-meet and #keeprunning #keepinspiring
I love the song. And such beautiful pics.
