Today’s glorious photo is courtesy of my American friend Mary Tremblay, whom I met in Johannesburg, but who now lives in Europe, and who sent me a wistful message on hearing that I am in South Africa…you ARE following this, right ?!
Mary was terrifyingly fit when we lived in Joburg, and was a serious runner then.
And so, with exquisite timing, there we were, out on our game drive this morning, when we catch a sudden passing signal and lo and behold, a photo from Mary’s run this morning.
Gotta love friends. Gotta love running friends. And gotta love technology, deep in the African bush.
What a lovely lovely image.
Merci mon amie.
Mary in her own words:
Here’s what I saw on my run this morning. A beautiful sunrise over the Mont Blanc with Geneva below. Photo taken from my side at the foot of the Jura at about 700m. The clouds add depth to the ever changing mountainscape. 12°C
